The Medical Systems Division represents Olympus' largest business domain and is the global market and technology leader for medical endoscopes. Within the Medical Systems Division the area of Surgical Products is a market leader for providing imaging and treatment technologies. A new market segment under development is surgical video microscopy for which we are hiring Clinical Product & Application Specialists (CPAS) for our European Headquarter in Hamburg, Germany. The CPAS‘main role is to support local sales initiatives around the Olympus ORBEYE Surgical 4K3D Video Microscope and to provide clinical training and product application guidance to health care professionals. In addition, the Clinical Product and Application Specialist will be a key liaison between sales and marketing for the product segment of Olympus 4K3D Video Microscopy both on a country and European level.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the successful product installation and health care provider training
  • Assist the territory manager and sales manager regarding all technical aspects and questions around the ORBEYE Surgical 4K3D Video Microscope
  • Set up local ORBEYE Surgical 4K3D Video Microscope Reference Centers EMEA-wide, providing training to health care providers to use the product effectively and correctly
  • Provide technical after-sales support and act as a conduit and facilitator between customer, sales and service
  • Develop new clinical applications for ORBEYE in close cooperation with the European Marketing Group
  • Collect and report any product feedback, success stories, product-related issues and improvement ideas and report these accordingly
  • Control leads management and sales pipeline management with the countries and according to the countries’ sales targets
  • Report on sales progression of the product
  • Assist in the development of relevant marketing and communication tools geared at proper clinical use and application of the product

Your Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed your studies in Medical Technology, Nursing, Medical Technology Application, another health care profession and/or Business Administration
  • You have some initial professional experience in health care sales or/and marketing as well as experience with surgical microscopy
  • You have excellent communication skills and an excellent command of English, both written and spoken, additional language skills are a plus
  • Your strengths include the ability to interact with different health care providers, to interact in an operating room environment and to transfer knowledge to other stakeholders
  • You have a driver’s license
  • You enjoy traveling within Europe (up to 60% of your working time)
